Maryland has one of the highest rates of domestic human trafficking in the nation, according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline. The Eastern Shore is not immune. In an effort to educate our community and to bring awareness to Human Trafficking, we are offering a series of presentations across the five Mid-Shore counties. The presentations are free and open to professionals working with the issue of human trafficking, such as social workers, healthcare workers, and law enforcement. Please join Katharine Petzold, Anti-Human Trafficking Program Coordinator at For All Seasons, and Cara Rose, Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations to learn about human trafficking, its prevalence in our community, and how to recognize its red flags.
