Rape Crisis Center/Victim Services
Our RCC advocates serve as a powerful first line of care after someone experiences trauma. They provide comprehensive, free, and confidential services to victims of crime, including those who have experienced sexual assault, abuse, rape, or trauma. Our advocates approach all survivors by believing them, advocating for their rights and needs, and empowering them to make their own decisions.
When a survivor needs our help – at any time of day or night – our victim advocates are there. They offer resources, meet survivors at the hospital, and advocate for those in crisis during court and police accompaniments. If a survivor needs additional help, For All Seasons will provide ongoing therapy and/or information and referrals to other social services, legal services, and available support groups.

Sexual Assault happens regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, or sexual identity. For All Seasons Rape Crisis Center serves anyone that has encountered any form of sexual assault, harrassment or abuse.
For All Seasons does not offer these services, however, the staff can refer the perpetrator to another organization or group for support.
For All Seasons will provide support for the survivor and those close to the survivor.
It is your choice to report the crime to the police. For All Seasons staff provides support and confidentiality. If you choose to report the crime, staff is available to accompany you to medical, police, and court appointments.
If you experience an assault, you have options including calling the RCC hotline, going to the hospital, or calling the police. Several hospitals on the Mid Shore provide care through certified sexual assault nurse examiners – Easton Memorial Hospital, U. of M. Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown, Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge, U. of M. Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. It is advised that you do not change clothing or shower after an assault and prior to the hospital visit. As of 2020 in Maryland, SAFEs (Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations) are offered to victims of sexual assault free of charge for up to 15 days after the sexual assault. Even if a survivor does not receive a SAFE immediately following the assault, they still have time to do so. The decision to report the crime is the survivor’s choice. The For All Seasons RCC Advocates will accompany you to the hospital or police station as requested. You will be informed of all your options and wrapped with support. Your advocate will also provide you with a comfort kit that includes a travel bag, basic clothing, footwear, and undergarments, personal hygiene items, a journal, and other items to return dignity and comfort.Â
For All Seasons offers many services to help you move forward. Crisis appointments are available onsite as soon as 24 hours after the incident. Long- term counseling is available with a licensed clinicians to provide continued support for wellness and self-care,
