Events & Outreach

Therapy. Psychiatry. Advocacy. Education. Outreach.

Throughout the year, For All Seasons offers social gatherings, events, and speakers as a way of reaching our diverse community. Our events bring awareness, education and an overall enrichment to the Mid-Shore. By focusing on the needs of our clients, and the local community, we plan gatherings that will empower, educate, and promote better health for all. Our annual fundraising events such as No Matter What You Matter and Heart & Music provide funds for countless hours of therapy, advocacy and case management services to clients in need. Without the support of our donors, these events and their vital benefits would not possible.

Our Big Events

No Matter What ... You Matter

Suicide Prevention Campaign

Suicide does not discriminate, affecting people of all genders, ages, and ethnicities. Many different factors may contribute to someone making a suicide attempt. For All Seasons hopes that by discussing the signs and symptoms associated with suicide that it can raise awareness about the issue in our community. Because family and friends are often the first to recognize the warning signs of suicide, they can be critical to helping an individual find treatment with a provider who specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions.

NO MATTER WHAT . . . YOU MATTER Suicide Prevention Campaign’s goals are to provide some of the warning signs of suicide and tips for how to help prevent suicide while raising funds for For All Season Suicide Prevention services. The campaign began in 2017 and over the last two years has partnered with Easton businesses in the weeklong event where businesses choose to donate a portion of the proceeds from their sales the first week of October to For All Seasons. The campaign starts with a kick-off reception in downtown Easton on First Friday.

Heart & Music

Annual Fundraiser

For nine years, Heart & Music, For All Seasons’ annual fundraiser has brought together a talented cast to entertain and educate the community about the important mental health and rape crisis services that For All Seasons provides.  The weekend musical event includes an opening night gala and evening and matinee performances.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Prevention Campaign

For All Seasons holds several events in April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. In addition to the community-wide Denim Day, month-long awareness activities include exhibits and proclamations in all five counties on the Mid Shore. The agency seeks support for rape survivors through its project, “Comfort Kits.” Because a victim’s clothing often needs to be left behind as evidence, each “Comfort Kit” includes a nice travel bag, basic clothing, footwear, and undergarments, personal hygiene items, a journal, and other items to return dignity, provide comfort and let them know someone cares. A special addition to the “Comfort Kits” is a sterling silver Hope Heart necklace.

Denim Day

Peace Over Violence Awareness

On a Wednesday in April each year, Peace Over Violence celebrates Denim Day to raise awareness about sexual violence. April is chosen because it is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Participants are encouraged to wear denim with a purpose on this day to show their support in ending sexual violence. Denim Day is an international day created 20 years ago after an Italian court overruled a rape conviction because the victim was wearing tight jeans. Wearing denim with a purpose on this day is a way to protest the misconceptions and victim-blaming around sexual violence. Each year, For All Seasons participates in Denim Day as a symbol of solidarity with victims of sexual violence.
