First Responder Peer Support Programs
In Partnership with For All Seasons
Supporting Those Who Answer the Call
Every shift is different. Some bring pride, teamwork, and the satisfaction of helping others. Others bring stress, difficult calls, and experiences that can stay with you long after your shift ends.
Our First Responder Peer Support Programs provide confidential, peer-to-peer support for first responders throughout Maryland's Mid-Shore. Built by first responders, for first responders, and supported by the clinical expertise of For All Seasons, these county-based programs create a trusted space where those who serve can connect with trained peers who understand the unique realities of the job.
You don't have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out. Whether you're processing a difficult call, managing stress, experiencing burnout, or simply need someone who understands, peer support is available.
Every day, first responders show up for their communities. We're here to make sure support is available for them, too.

Why Peer Support Matters
First responders routinely experience situations that most people never encounter. Talking with someone who understands the demands of the profession can make all the difference.
Peer support is designed to:
- Normalize conversations about mental wellness
- Reduce the stigma of asking for help
- Build resilience before challenges become crises
- Strengthen relationships within departments and agencies
- Connect first responders to professional resources when additional support is needed
