MEET RACHEL

Rachel was admitted to the hospital after being sexually assaulted.

During her stay, an advocate from For All Seasons arrived to support her through the medical exam. The advocate provided her with a ‘comfort kit’ that included new pants and shirt, undergarments, a journal, toiletries, a stuffed animal and a hand-knitted scarf with a note of encouragement. She also received information about her options to report the incident to law enforcement and how For All Seasons can help her get through this trauma.

After being discharged from the hospital, she met with a therapist to help her make sense of all that had happened to her. Two years later, Rachel is still in treatment, but credits her advocate and therapist with saving her life. Day by day, with their help, she is healing from this trauma she endured.

If something similar has happened to you – call if you just want to talk. It’s never too late.
