Heart & Music: Music from the 60’s & 70’s

Join us for year seven of “Heart & Music” presented by the Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center at For All Seasons, March 9, 10, 11, & 12 at the Oxford Community Center.

Director Ed Langrell and music director Amy Morgan are bringing back the 60’s theme and turning the corner into the music of the early 70’s for a show filled with grooviness, smooth tones, cool dance moves, and rockin memories from two eras of great songs and lyrics.

Join the cast and crew for a show packed with fun, talent, and entertainment when “Heart and Music” opens with the Gala Celebration, Thursday March 9, co-starring a delicious dinner catered by Occasion Catering, culminating in the musical tribute to the 60’s and early 70’s. Gail Aveson, Randy Bachand, Jane Copple, Katie Cox, Matt Folker, Marcia Gilliam, Bill Gross Malley Hester, Beth Anne Langrell, Ed Langrell, Lisa Roth, Zack Schlag, Heather Scott, John Swann, Joe Tyler, Becca Van Aken, and Ricky Vitanovec.

Kick back to songs by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Ashford & Simpson, John Fogerty and more. The band will be rockin with piano by Amy Morgan, trumpet by Ed Justice, saxophone by Dawn Dieter Steward, percussion by Shelby Clendaniel, rounded out by the smooth sounds of bass guitar by Matt Bair and trombone by Tony Settineri. Stage manager is Sally Woodall, lights by Amber Vitanovec, sound by Michael LeCates at Mid South Audio, and  choreographers Katie Cox and Annie Pokrywka.

Tickets for the Gala are $125.  Show only performances, $20 for adults and $10 students, are Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, at 8pm and at 2pm on Sunday, March 12. Call 443-258-2130
